Reasonable Accommodations for TEA Employees

TEA makes reasonable accommodations to remove or alleviate barriers to equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities. These accommodations are modifications or adjustments that enable a qualified person with a disability to perform the essential functions of their position.

Employees wishing to make a request for reasonable accommodation should notify their immediate supervisor of their needs. The employee's immediate supervisor will forward the request to the TEA Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Coordinator in Human Resources. See OP 07-17 - Nondiscrimination, section 11c, for more information.
