  • Before the class, provide an opportunity for participants to request accommodations.
  • Some possible accommodations:
    • Provide handouts in braille or large print.
    • Send electronic copies of the materials for review before the presentation.
    • Ask for the attendee's preference, if multiple options are available.

What else could Mike do differently?

  • During the presentation, describe the images and graphics on the slides.
  • Only meaningful images need to be described. Purely decorative images (those that don't communicate a message) can be ignored.
