Indicator 4B
Indicator 4B is based on an exit survey of teacher candidates, which is administered at the time they apply for their standard certificate. For Indicator 4B, all individuals who apply for their first standard teaching license during the academic year are asked to complete a survey. This survey also captures race/ethnicity and gender information of the respondent.
See the ASEP manual for more information about the survey process.
