Certification Exam Pass Rates for Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities

ASEP Indicator 1 is the pass rate on certification exams approved by the Educator Preparation Program (EPP). There are two measures: the pass rate on the Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) exams (1A) and the pass rate on content exams (1B). The dashboard below provides information about the PPR exam. To learn more about specific content exams, visit the content exam dashboard.

Version 1.2: The information below contains data for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years. The dashboard can be filtered by EPP name, Gender or Ethnicity. The data provided on this page were generated November 6, 2019. The visualizations are generated by the Power BI application and best practices have been made to follow WCAG 2.0 standards. Specific keyboard commands are needed to access and navigate through the data which are are not the standard keyboard commands some screen readers use. About The Data

The population covered in this dataset are all individuals who were admitted to an EPP after 12/26/2016; all individuals who have taken an examination required for the field of the certificate under which they are serving their internship and/or for the certification fields for which they are being prepared, as specified by the EPP. These candidates have completed the PPR exam during the reporting period.See the ASEP manual for more information about the identification, inclusion, and exclusion process.
