School Board Member Training: Registered Providers

Registered providers approved to train school district boards of trustees are eligible to conduct the following required training:

• Team Building (Team-of-Eight)
• Framework for School Board Development
• Texas Education Code (Update)
• Human Trafficking

Approval to provide training to school board trustees is limited to individuals. Organizations may not register as training providers to school board trustees.

Registered providers approved to train charter school board members and school officers are eligible to conduct the following required training:

• Charter Law
• Accountability to the Public
• Accountability for Public Funds
• School Safety

Approval to provide training to charter boards is not limited to individuals. Organizations may also register as training providers to charter schools.

Registered providers are not eligible to conduct Lone Star Governance workshops or the Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes (EISO) training. EISO training may be conducted by an authorized provider or Lone Star Governance coach. Lone Star Governance workshops may be conducted by only Lone Star Governance coaches.
