CCMR Tracker Release: Stage 2B Now Available (August 4, 2023)
The College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Tracker Stage 2B was released within the TEAL Accountability application on August 4.  The CCMR Tracker is updated with industry-based certifications (IBCs) attained, IBC status, and a flag for students who meet CCMR via a sunsetting IBC only.  A guide to the new features is included within the TEAL Accountability application.

The CCMR Tracker is a tracking tool which provides districts with an early preview of CCMR status for students who are in grades 9–12 during the 2022–23 school year. The CCMR Tracker contains lagging data. While the Tracker contains students who were in grades 9–12 on the 2022–23 PEIMS snapshot, the 2023 version does not contain results from school year 2022–23 as those data have yet to be reported.

Sunsetting IBCs
Beginning with 2023 ratings, a campus may not earn CCMR credit for more than five graduates, or 20 percent of graduates, whichever is higher, who only meet CCMR criteria via a sunsetting IBC. This limit is applied within the Student Achievement and School Progress, Part B: Relative Performance domains. For more information on Sunsetting IBCs for Accountability see the IBC webpage and Chapter 2 of the 2023 Accountability Manual.

CCMR Preliminary Student Listing (July 31, 2023)
The Preliminary 2023 CCMR Student Listing was released within the TEAL Accountability application on July 31. This data download contains non-AEA 2023 CCMR data for 2021–22 annual graduates and 2021–22 non-graduating 12th graders, including applicable corrections submitted and approved through the 2023 CCMR Verifier. This data will be used to calculate the CCMR Readiness components for 2023 accountability ratings.  See the Recent Communications on our Performance Reporting Resources page for more details.

Item analysis reports reflecting final accountability data, including student corrections made during the data correction window, will be available on August 22.

Final assessment results will be available in the Family Portal on August 11 for STAAR EOC assessments and on August 16 for grades 3–8. To learn how to locate access codes for families, refer to the How to Look Up Family Portal Access Codes in TIDE training video posted on the Family Portal Information page of the Texas Assessment website. In addition, a document, Helping Parents Access the Family Portal, which includes answers to frequently asked questions, is posted on that same webpage.

2023 STAAR Alternate 2
Starting August 9, 2023, districts that did not opt out will receive printed confidential student labels and districts that opted in will receive printed copies of student report cards for the 2023 STAAR Alternate 2 administration.

2023–2024 Calendar of Events
The Calendar of Events for the 2023–2024 school year, which includes test administration tasks and reporting events, is posted on the Testing Personnel page of the Texas Assessment website. Printed versions of the Calendar of Events will be shipped to districts in September.

Training
The Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE) Enhancements for the 2023–2024 School Year training module is now available on the Learning Management System (LMS) website. This training will explore new features, redesigns, and updates in TIDE.

Annual System Rollover
Online systems for the Texas Assessment Program will be offline from 6:00 p.m. (CT) August 18 through 1:00 a.m. (CT) August 28, 2023, to complete a system rollover. District testing personnel should download any data files or certifications needed prior to August 18. All student data will be cleared from TIDE, and user passwords must be reset. Practice tests will continue to be accessible in guest mode, and the Secure File Center and LMS will be available through the Testing Personnel page of the Texas Assessment website.
