CCMR Accountability Data Sources

An updated CCMR Accountability Data Sources document is now available on the Performance Reporting Resources page. This document provides links to TSDS Web Enabled Data Standards to ensure alignment of entries.

HB1416 and Accelerated Instruction Update

Accelerated instruction requirements were modified by House Bill 4545 of the 87th legislature and recently updated with the passage of House Bill 1416 in the 88th legislature. TEA guidance and FAQs have shared that TEA intends to propose rules that utilize the “High/Low Does Not Meet" categories of RLA and Math STAAR performance that were created as a part of the 2023 A-F Refresh for measuring Academic Growth in the School Progress Domain. Performance Reporting shares the raw scores and scale scores associated with high and low performance level designations on the 2023 Development page . Additionally, Performance Reporting has created a guide for districts to access 2022 Accelerated Learning Rates in their Preliminary 2022 What If reports and student listings. This guide is located within the TEA Login (TEAL).

Local Accountability System

Now is the perfect time to explore the local accountability system and learn how your district can develop a plan using your existing priorities and data!

Local accountability is an optional, first-of-its-kind initiative at the district level to measure campus-specific outcomes.

Texas is the first state in the nation to adopt a formal way for districts to choose local measures that may be included in a campus’ official state accountability rating as reported on txschools.gov.

A district local accountability plan:

  • Provides stakeholders with detailed information about school performance and progress over time,

  • Communicates priorities and demonstrates a commitment to achieving the components in the plan, and

  • Signifies the importance of local goals by publicly releasing local accountability system ratings.

District staff wishing to learn more about the local accountability system and how to develop a district local accountability plan can participate in a 45-minute overview webinar with time for Q & A.

Register now to join us via Zoom on Tuesday, July 11 at 2 pm to learn more!
